Philosophy of care

I aim to create an open, supportive and personal relationship with each of my patients. One of my goals is to provide information about healthy lifestyle choices and approaches to reducing cardiovascular risk and preventing disease. I strive to have a candid discussion about the many available therapies for cardiovascular disease—carefully balancing risks and benefits—with a focus on maximizing quality of life. I incorporate the latest advances in evidence-based medicine into these discussions in order to provide the best possible care to patients.

Personal interests

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Nair grew up in Wisconsin but has lived in the Bay Area for several years. He is an avid runner.
