Heart and Vascular
Our dedicated cardiologists and surgeons provide lifesaving heart care every day for people living with conditions ranging from atrial fibrillation (AFib) to vascular disease.

Why Choose Sutter?
Your cardiovascular (circulatory) system pumps blood through vessels long enough to circle the world — twice. With a system as complex as this, you want a partner who keeps a strong pulse on your heart health. We’ll help you start healing faster by using various imaging tools like echocardiograms, stress tests and CT scans to detect issues. From managing blood pressure and arrhythmia to performing complex procedures like heart transplants, we're here to take exceptional care of your heart.
As one of the largest cardiovascular programs in the country, we’re at the forefront of medical advances and treatments. These latest innovations allow us to repair or completely replace a heart valve through small incisions using minimally invasive tricuspid valve procedures or diagnose heart diseases using one of the few cardiac MRI scanners in the world. Sutter CPMC is the first hospital on the West Coast to implant the AltaValve™ System in a patient as part of the ATLAS pivotal clinical trial.
At Sutter, your care doesn’t stop once you exit our doors. We encourage all patients and caregivers to use our educational support services, like at-home blood pressure monitoring, free webinars and classes on managing your heart health and achieving a healthy weight.
