Glynnis Zieman Calvin, M.D.

As a sports neurologist, Dr. Zieman's role is to partner with athletes throughout their evaluation, treatment, and recovery from concussion and other neurological conditions. She provides individualized, evidence-based care that addresses each athlete’s unique health, academic, and performance goals. She values collaboration with athletes and their families, athletic trainers, coaches, schools, and other healthcare professionals. Her goal is to support lifelong brain health while safely guiding athletes back to exercise, school, sport, and the activities that matter most to them.

She enjoys traveling, hiking, cycling, and otherwise spending time outdoors with her husband and their two sons. She is also an endurance runner who participates in both road and trail races. A dedicated sports fan, she especially supports the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals as a Kansas City native, as well as the University of Kansas and Arizona State University.
