Glynnis Zieman Calvin, M.D.

As a sports neurologist, Dr. Zieman's role is to partner with athletes throughout their evaluation, treatment, and recovery from concussion and other neurological conditions. She provides individualized, evidence-based care that addresses each athlete’s unique health, academic, and performance goals. She values collaboration with athletes and their families, athletic trainers, coaches, schools, and other healthcare professionals. Her goal is to support lifelong brain health while safely guiding athletes back to exercise, school, sport, and the activities that matter most to them.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Zieman enjoys traveling, hiking, cycling, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons. An avid endurance runner, she participates in both road and trail races. As a Kansas City native, she is a dedicated fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals and also cheers for the University of Kansas and Arizona State University.
