Jacqueline S. Dela Merced, M.D.

Dr. Dela Merced loves waking up every morning knowing that she can help make a difference in the lives of her patients and their families. She feels it is a true honor and privilege to be at a patient's side during either the best or worst moment of her life, and to get her safely through it. Dr. Dela Merced's patients constantly amaze her and teach her about strength, determination, and courage. In return, her goal is to provide the best care possible to help her patients through their transitions from puberty to adulthood, to motherhood, and beyond.

Dr. Dela Merced has participated in two surgical missions to the Philippines, providing much-needed gynecologic surgeries for indigent women, and hopes to return someday. She has spoken at both local high school and college campuses to educate young women about birth control, safe sex practices, and gynecologic care. She is a regular blood and platelet donor for the American Red Cross.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Dela Merced loves watching home improvement shows with her husband, making every day a little more special for her daughter, tending to her dahlia garden of over 30 varieties, spinning to her favorite Peloton instructors, and snuggling with a great mystery novel.
