Jonathan M. Flanzbaum, M.D.

After nearly 30 years in practice, Dr. Flanzbaum's philosophy of care continues to evolve through lifelong learning and the changing needs of children and families. He strongly believes in preventive care, including the importance of vaccinations, healthy lifestyles, and balanced development. He encourages children to explore their interests, develop strong social skills, and participate in activities such as sports, music, and the arts. Recognizing the growing pressures facing children and adolescents, he partners with families to support both physical and emotional well-being. He views his role as a trusted guide and resource, helping parents make informed decisions while respecting each family's unique values and approach to raising their children.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Flanzbaum enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time outdoors. His interests include swimming, cycling, hiking, fishing, skiing, and road biking. Following a knee replacement, he embraced open-water swimming and completed two half-Ironman triathlons. He is also an avid reader, passionate home cook and food enthusiast, and longtime fan of jazz music and marching bands.
