Kimberly H. Chong, M.D., FAAP

Dr. Kimberly Chong was born in Seoul, South Korea, and moved to the United States at the age of eight. Before joining PAMF, she worked as a pediatric urgent care physician in Central California. She is committed to staying current with the latest medical knowledge and providing thoughtful, individualized care for every child. By listening closely to patients and families, she strives to develop the best care plan for each child's unique needs. She enjoys guiding families through every stage of development, from infancy through young adulthood, by offering education, reassurance, and evidence-based recommendations that empower them to make informed health decisions. Drawing on her research background, she approaches challenges with a methodical, evidence-based mindset while remaining sensitive to the diverse cultural backgrounds of the families she serves. She values building strong relationships with patients and their families and considers it a privilege to support children through both wellness and illness. Outside of medicine, she and her husband have participated in medical mission work and hope to continue volunteering and traveling together as a family. She treasures the opportunity to work alongside exceptional pediatric specialists and colleagues at PAMF and looks forward to caring for children and supporting families throughout their healthcare journey.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Chong is married and has a son. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and gardening.
