Laer E. Streeter, M.D.

As a Black, queer, and transgender/non-binary OB/GYN physician, Dr. Streeter is committed to providing comprehensive, inclusive reproductive healthcare for people of all identities and at every stage of life. They have a special interest in the intersection of reproductive and transgender health and strive to ensure patients receive respectful, affirming, and individualized care. Their goal is to help create a future in which OB/GYN care is inclusive of all gender identities and responsive to the unique needs of every patient.

Dr. Streeter is a Bay Area native who earned both a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Public Health from the Keck School of Medicine of USC and completed residency training at Boston University Medical Center. In 2024, they were selected as the ACOG Gellhaus Fellow, a national honor awarded to one resident annually, and worked with the ACOG government affairs team to advocate for reproductive healthcare access and policy initiatives in Washington, D.C.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Streeter enjoys playing basketball, skiing, hiking, kickboxing, and traveling. They also play the violin and occasionally perform with the Awesome Orchestra, a local community orchestra. In their free time, they enjoy exploring new restaurants with their wife, who is also an OB/GYN.
