Martha A. Muna, M.D.

Dr. Muna believes in caring for the whole patient. This means learning from her family and also teaching them about preventing illnesses or about illnesses they may face. As the mother of two children, she understands the anxiety that can come along with parenting and she strives to ensure parents feel understood and supported in a clinic. She also comes from a family that suffers from Type Two Diabetes, and she is intimately aware of how exercise and nutritious, culturally relevant foods are medicine for the body.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Muna was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her family comes from New Mexico, Guam, and South Africa. She loves learning about new cultures and trying new foods. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
