I believe in treating people with a multi-disciplinary approach, not only addressing their physical health but also their emotional and spiritual well-being. After practicing general internal medicine in both outpatient and inpatient settings, I realized that with medical advancements and the population's increased longevity, there was also a need to address how people's emotions about their chronic and life-limiting illnesses affect their medical decision-making. I also believe that exploring this can help their medical providers care for them more effectively. It was this realization that inspired me to make a transition to Palliative & Hospice Medicine.

Outside of Medicine, personal interests include traveling, cooking, running, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
