My goal is to provide precise, state-of-the-art diagnoses and treatment of the heart and blood vessels in children and young adults, including prenatal cardiac imaging. I achieve this by providing accessible, high quality, individualized, compassionate care for children and their families with an emphasis on education and restoring the patient to an active, healthy life. Because adult coronary heart disease is established undetected in childhood, another goal is recognizing and treating obesity, inactivity, diabetes, smoking, poor nutrition, and hyperlipidemia in children in the community I serve emphasizing accurate diagnosis and treatment of predisposing congenital lipid abnormalities.
