Nina A. Talmor, M.D., FACC

Dr. Nina Talmor is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure, and cardiac arrhythmias. Her clinical expertise includes advanced cardiovascular imaging and noninvasive cardiac testing, including coronary CT, vascular imaging, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, and nuclear stress testing.

A San Francisco Bay Area native, Dr. Talmor earned both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Southern California, where she served as student body president and was elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center, which was ranked the No. 1 hospital in the United States for cardiology, heart, and vascular surgery by U.S. News & World Report in 2026.

During fellowship, Dr. Talmor was selected for the clinician-investigator track, where she published extensively in the areas of inflammation, coronary artery disease, and cardiac interventions. In 2025, she was honored with the Cardiology Research Fellow of the Year Award.

Dr. Talmor is committed to delivering thoughtful, evidence-based, and personalized cardiovascular care. She emphasizes prevention, clear communication, and long-term partnerships with patients to develop individualized treatment strategies and support lifelong heart health.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Talmor enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, reading, traveling, and discovering new cuisines.
