Peter H. Cheng, M.D.

It is an absolute joy to serve our incredible patients, who inspire us daily with their wisdom, humor, grace, strength, and courage. The essence of caring for aging patients go far beyond medical procedures and pills. Geriatricians are wired to listen and ponder, aiming to better understand what matters most to each patient. We evaluate thoroughly to deepen the understanding of where folks currently stand on the aging journey. We partner with each and their loved ones to come up with solutions that support, honor, and resonate.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Cheng is an avid, lifelong violinist. Representing the USA as a World Doctors Orchestra musician, he has performed in benefit concerts to support global health charities in Berlin, Bonn, Boston, Krakow, Melbourne, Paris, Reims, San Francisco, Seattle, Sydney, and Warsaw.

Dr. Cheng is a Co-Founder of the Palo Alto-based Guzik Center for Geriatrics & Palliative Care, as well as a Department Chair of Geriatric Medicine. As a consulting physician specializing in aging, he and his team serve patients ranging from 65 to 100+.
