Rebecca C. Falik, M.D.

Dr. Falik grew up in Berkeley, California, and feels privileged to care for patients in the East Bay and to be part of Sutter East Bay Medical Group. She specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and managing complex gynecologic conditions, including endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and pelvic inflammatory disease. She has expertise in advanced laparoscopic techniques for complex surgical care, allowing patients to avoid more invasive procedures and recover more quickly. She was drawn to this work by the opportunity to help patients feel heard and supported, particularly in conditions that are often underdiagnosed or misunderstood. She values building long-term relationships and partnering with patients to navigate complex decisions around both medical and surgical care. Her goal is to ensure that each patient feels informed, respected, and confident in their care plan.

Dr. Falik spent eight years at Alameda Health System, where she practiced as an obstetrician and gynecologist at Highland Hospital and founded the Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Center. She is committed to expanding access to advanced gynecologic care and has been actively involved in surgical education and mentorship of UCSF medical students. Her work has also extended globally, where she has helped train physicians in minimally invasive techniques in resource-limited settings.

Dr. Falik enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and staying active.
