Savitha Krishnan, M.D.

Dr. Krishnan believes very strongly in providing information and enabling patients to make decisions for themselves regarding their care. She believes in presenting all options and information available. She notes that many urogynecologic procedures involve quality of life, and she speaks and educates regarding opportunities that women have to improve their quality of life. Examples include the opportunity to have in-office procedures for prolapse, accidental bowel leakage, as well as urine incontinence. She has a special interest in surgical treatments for pelvic organ prolapse, urogynecology, urinary incontinence, and fecal incontinence. She also believes that even if a patient does not act on information provided, just having the information is a good resource for them.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Krishnan is married and has two children. She has lived in India and Europe. She enjoys traveling, music and dance.
