Scott B. Tobis, M.D.

Dr. Tobis applies the most advanced techniques for patients facing various urologic conditions to help preserve normal function. He treats patients for urologic cancers (prostate, kidney, bladder, ureter, testis), prostate enlargement/BPH, vasectomy, kidney stones, and overactive bladder. As a third-generation physician, patient-centered care is in his DNA.

Dr. Tobis is Chair of the Department of Urology at Sansum Clinic, Sutter Health, in Santa Barbara. He has fellowship training and extensive experience in the minimally invasive surgical treatment of a wide range of benign and malignant urologic conditions. Trained by leading surgeons in New York and California, Dr. Tobis performs more robotic surgeries and radical prostatectomies than any other urologic surgeon on the Central Coast.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Tobis enjoys skiing, cycling, running, hiking, and spending time with his family.
