Tarnveer Singh, M.D., M.S.

Dr. Tarnveer Singh believes that every patient should be treated with respect and dignity, just as he would treat his own family. He views the patient–physician relationship as a collaborative partnership built on mutual trust and honesty. His role is to help patients stay healthy, which requires commitment and effort from both sides. The ultimate goal, in his view, is to be happy, healthy, and enjoying life.

Dr. Singh was born and raised in the Bay Area, graduating from Irvington High School in Fremont. Afterwards, he completed his undergraduate education in Biology at U.C. Berkeley. During those years, as a student, he was active with various human rights organizations, including Physicians for Human Rights and Doctors without Borders. This triggered his interest in both medicine and humanitarianism.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two rambunctious sons. He believes in daily meditation and prayer and loves traditional Sikh devotional music (keertan). A lifelong Track & Field enthusiast, he competed as a long and triple jumper in high school and college and continues to enjoy running and weight training. He is a big fan of Star Wars, Willy Wonka, and Saturday Night Live, and he enjoys music—especially Guns N' Roses, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Metallica, and classic and hard rock. He also loves to cook, bake, sleep, and eat.
