Erika J. Leacox, Ed.D

Dr. Erika Leacox works with youth, families, and adults using a humanistic approach to care. A believer in nature through nurture, she integrates behaviorism and attachment in practice. Prioritizing insight from lifespan and psychodynamic development fosters her passion to keep clients at the heart of their healing journey. She champions education about fear and stigma related to illness and aims to support clients in illuminating their natural resilience and autonomy. Dr. Leacox is dedicated to client work done in some of the hardest moments where, alongside real challenges, there is beautiful and novel drive for pure enjoyment of life. Modalities she uses are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Parent Management Training, and Mindfulness & Meditation.
