Jennifer M. Kelley, DNP

Jennifer Kelley is a doctorally prepared board certified adult gerontological primary care nurse practitioner educated at Johns Hopkins University with over 28 years of nursing experience supporting cancer patients. It is my professional goal to provide the best evidence based and patient-centered care to all patients. I seek to understand the goals and priorities of each individual in our diverse patient population to assist in managing their complex healthcare needs

Dr. Jennifer Kelley has demonstrated her strong commitment to nursing education and the future of nursing by serving in the roles of preceptor, nursing professional development specialist, and instructor supporting courses for the Oncology Nursing society and both Johns Hopkins and University of Utah Schools of Nursing. She has presented scholarly work at multiple professional conferences sharing her clinical knowledge in quality improvement, symptoms assessment, management of oncologic emergencies, and age friendly care. She played an integral role in the development of several cancer treatment programs, establishing standards for evidenced based clinical practice at Sutter Mills-Peninsula Dorothy Schneider Cancer center, Stanford Cancer Center, and Huntsman Cancer Institute. She is an active member of Sigma theta Tau International, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Oncology Nursing Society, the American Geriatric Society, and the Advanced Practitioners Society for Hematology and Oncology.

Her personal interests include advanced cancer care, symptom management, cancer survivorship, integrative medicine, and empowering patients with self-care education. When not at work you will find her taking advantage of our beautiful open spaces hiking, biking or sailing in the bay.
