I believe in a mind-body-spirit approach to mental health. One must continue to educate ones mind through continued education and self improvement, incorporate a physical exercise routine, practice good sleep hygiene, consume a healthy diet to strengthen one's body and address one's spirit through meditation and mindfulness practice. Maintaining this balance in addition to proper medical care can make a positive difference in one's overall mental health.

Theresa enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. She is married and has two adult sons, an adorable dog, and one cat (who tolerates her presence in his home). She is an avid reader, her favorite authors include Anne Lamott, John Steinbeck and Gary Gibbs D.O. She enjoys reading for pleasure, as well as to expand her knowledge base in the field of mental health.
