Cancer care tailored to you

A cancer diagnosis can change your life in an instant. At Sutter, oncology care goes beyond treatment — you’ll find answers, guidance and a care team that sees you as a person first.

Your cancer care team is here

No matter where you are in your cancer journey, you're not facing it alone. We’re here to connect you to cancer care and support services to help you feel informed and move forward with confidence.

Personalized cancer treatment

Your care team takes the time to understand your cancer type, stage and goals, then builds a treatment plan with you.

Surgery, radiation and chemotherapy

Treatment looks different for everyone. Your care may include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy or a combination of multiple treatments.

  • Surgery: Remove cancerous tumors or tissue from the body. It’s often combined with other treatments.
  • Radiation therapy: Use targeted energy to treat cancer cells in a specific area. It may help treat cancer, shrink tumors or relieve symptoms.
  • Chemotherapy: Use medications to destroy or slow the growth of cancer cells. It may be given before or after surgery, alongside radiation or as a primary treatment.

Your care team will explain why a treatment is recommended, what to expect and how to manage side effects.
