Dedicated to Your Recovery

Everyone faces difficult challenges when recovering from severe traumas, such as brain injury or stroke, as well as illnesses. As a patient at a hospital in the Sutter Health network, you will be supported by a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to helping you return home to live an independent, productive life.

Our experienced occupational therapists, speech therapists, physical therapists, registered nurses, neuropsychologists and other clinical staff will guide your recovery process as long as you are hospitalized. Their advanced expertise, combined with state-of-the-art technology and compassionate nursing care, will help you regain your ability to perform daily tasks and get back to the life you love.

When you are stable enough to leave the hospital but not ready to move home, the Sutter Health network offers four inpatient acute rehabilitation centers where you can continue your recovery in a safe and healthy environment.

Our rehabilitation centers are certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities as adhering to the highest industry standards of excellence. The Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation has placed some of our affiliate acute rehabilitation facilities in the top 2 percent for best care in the nation.
