Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Outcomes
California Pacific Regional Rehabilitation Center
FACT: California Pacific Regional Rehabilitation Center (CPRRC) is recognized throughout the Bay Area, and beyond, as a leader in the provision of specialized rehabilitation.
FACT: CPRRC is accredited by the Joint Commission and holds the following accreditations from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF):
- Brain Injury Specialty Program
- Stroke Specialty Program
- Spinal Cord Specialty Program
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Program-General
FACT: These International CARF accreditations reflect the highest standards in rehabilitation care and are a hallmark of our commitment to the community we serve. We are proud to be a part of CARF’s tradition of excellence.
FACT: Our programs are designed to serve people with complex, catastrophic rehabilitation diagnoses. Our facility is housed within a tertiary hospital that is part of the Neuroscience Institute of California Pacific Medical Center.
Because of these two facts, our programs can accommodate patients with the most complicated rehabilitation requirements, as well as the complex medical needs often associated with these diagnoses.
FACT: We regularly assess how effectively we serve our patients and community. One of the ways we do this is through the analysis of data.
Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation or UDSMR is an independent, not-for-profit data collection corporation that analyzes data and provides standardized reports that compare the outcomes of different medical rehabilitation providers in a uniform way.
The information we provide to UDSMR is translated into Quality Indicators (QIs). QIs are standardized, evidence-based measures used to track performance (formerly FIM.)
FACT: We prove our program’s effectiveness, and have for decades, by documenting our outcomes. They are the direct result of the care, skill, and commitment of every member of our team.
