MRI Certificate Program
Advance your imaging career with Sutter Mills Peninsula Medical Center's six-month MRI Certificate Program, available exclusively to eligible Sutter employees. Through flexible, independent online study and supervised clinical experience at an approved Sutter site, participants will build the knowledge and practical skills needed to pursue MRI certification.
The curriculum covers MRI physics, protocols, pathology, anatomy, patient care, ethics, MRI safety and registry preparation. ASRT and ARRT continuing education credits are available.
Important dates
- Information Session on Saturday, February 6th, 2027 at 9am PST
- Applications open until August 2027
- Orientation scheduled for September 2027, for accepted applicants
- Program starts September 2027
Program requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or Sonography (RDMS)
- A supervisor’s letter stating the employee will be allowed to complete the ARRT clinical requirements at their site (please name the site, i.e. Sutter MPMC for example)
