How to Apply
PGY-1 Applicants
U.S. Students
Apply for our residency program using ERAS®. Your medical school will issue you a token to register on ERAS.
International Students
International medical graduate applicants also use ERAS through the ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates). We are not able to sponsor visas at this time. Call ECFMG at 215-386-5900.

- ERAS application
- Letters of recommendation (at least two)
- Official transcript
- Personal statement

Acceptance Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for our family medicine residency program:
- USMLE and COMLEX Passing Grades: All applicants must have a passing score on USMLE Step 1 or COMLEX Level 1. We require a passing USMLE Step 2 CK score for final evaluation and ranking, but it’s not required for an interview.
- Medical school graduate: All applicants must have graduated from medical school within the last five years or have at least two years of experience in regular clinical practice.
- Clinical experience: A minimum of one year of U.S. clinical experience is required. U.S.-based medical school rotations count toward this requirement.
