Our Gastroenterology Fellowship brings graduate-level medical education to the greater Sacramento area. Gastroenterology Fellows will receive rigorous instruction from some of the best and brightest physicians in the Sutter Health System.

World-Class Instruction, Locally Delivered
The Sutter Roseville Medical Center Gastroenterology Fellowship is committed to developing compassionate, collaborative, and highly skilled gastroenterologists. Aligned with Sutter Health’s mission, the program emphasizes excellence in patient care and expanded access for the communities we serve. Training is based at both Sutter Roseville Medical Center and California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, offering fellows a diverse clinical experience and a robust, in-depth curriculum. The program fosters curiosity, lifelong learning, and evidence-based practice, preparing graduates to become independent physician leaders equipped to meet the growing demand for gastroenterologists in Northern California.

Preparing the Next Generation of Gastroenterologists
The SRMC Gastroenterology Fellowship offers three years of hands-on training in inpatient care, endoscopy, subspecialties, and research—preparing fellows for clinical excellence and board certification.
