A Message From Our Program Director 

Dear Residency Candidate,

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in our Adult Neurology Residency Program.
It is my privilege to serve as the Program Director as we are launching this exciting new chapter in neurology education. Our program is designed to provide a solid foundation in clinical neurology. Residents will have an opportunity to explore their individual interests and grow into confident, compassionate neurologists.

Residents will be trained at two dynamic clinical sites: Sutter Roseville Medical Center (SRMC) and Sutter Medical Center Sacramento (SMCS). These hospitals offer a diverse patient population, clinical experience and provide exposure to a wide range of neurological disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Our curriculum balances comprehensive training in adult neurology with dedicated rotations in subspecialties, including inpatient neurocritical care, stroke program, epilepsy, movement disorders, psychiatry and pediatric neurology. The structure is built for residents to gain early and meaningful experience, while building core skills that will serve them throughout their careers.
