Program Eligibility

  • US citizen or permanent resident
  • Graduation from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited pharmacy school
  • Eligible for California pharmacist licensure by October 1st

Application Requirements

To apply for admission to the PGY1 pharmacy residency program, the following information should be uploaded into PhORCAS by the deadline: January 9th, 2026. 

  • Official academic transcript
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Letter of Intent indicating why the California Pacific Medical Center pharmacy residency experience is beneficial for your career goals
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation
    • Minimum of 2 Letters of Recommendation should be from pharmacy preceptors

**After receiving your completed application, we will reach out to you to request a supplemental video submission answering a few questions**

An on-site interview is required. Interview and tour of the medical center will be scheduled after receipt of a complete residency application.
