Application Process for the 2027-2028 Residency Year

• Apply directly to the program through a local recruitment process.
• Submit an application through the Sutter Careers website by November 15, 2026.

Program Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Graduation from a pharmacy school accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
• Be licensed or eligible for licensure in California.

Application Requirements

Please submit the following through the Sutter Careers website:

• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Letter of Intent

Please include three references on your CV. At least two references should be pharmacy preceptors. References should include the individual's name, title, organization, email address, and phone number. A work email address is preferred when available. 
References will be contacted directly and asked to submit a letter of recommendation and a standardized reference evaluation form as part of the application review process.
After receiving your application, we will provide instructions for submitting an official pharmacy school transcript.
Candidates selected for an interview will be invited to participate in an on-site interview and tour of the medical center.

Recruitment Timeline (2027-2028)

• Applications should be submitted by November 15, 2026 to receive full consideration during the initial interview review process.
• Applications received after November 15, 2026, may still be considered based on program needs and applicant availability.
