Ginger H. Roehrig, M.D.

My focus as a primary care physician is on disease prevention and wellness. I collaborate with patients on achieving healthier lifestyles and empower them to actively manage any underlying chronic illness. I also believe that healthy eating and regular exercise in some capacity are essential maintain the health/life balance.

Dr. Roehrig is an avid volunteer within her community. She is also active in various local sports communities.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Roehrig is an exercise advocate - especially running, swimming, tennis, skiing, and hiking. She promotes healthy eating and nutrition, and loves growing food that her kids will eat right off the plant. Additionally, she enjoys camping and travelling. Dr. Roehrig was born and raised in Hilo and has a fondness for all things Hawaiian. She spends her free time at her children's school in various capacities and manages her school's community outreach program and the garden program for her children's grades.
