Philosophy of care

As a geriatrician, I see patients facing not only chronic medical conditions, but also age-related changes that come with the overall challenge of maintaining good quality of life. Sometimes this even includes the spiritual aspect. I value the roles of my patients' families and support groups and the other healthcare disciplines in order to optimize care. I view my patients as if they are extensions of my own family. Practicing geriatrics has provided me with the professional satisfaction I had hoped for.

Personal interests

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Navarro enjoys listening to music, playing the piano, gardening and hiking.
