Connie L. Ha, D.O.

Dr. Connie Ha believes palliative care is a multidisciplinary practice that supports patients living with serious illness and their families. Different from hospice, palliative care can be provided alongside life-prolonging treatment, with a focus on improving quality of life. She provides compassionate, person-centered care to adults living with serious illnesses, including cancer, dementia, advanced heart failure, and critical illness requiring intensive care. Because serious illness can bring difficult decisions during stressful and uncertain times, Dr. Ha believes in normalizing conversations about advance care planning early, giving patients the opportunity to communicate their values, wishes, and goals before a crisis occurs. Her approach is to partner with patients and advocate for care that reflects what matters most to them. She collaborates closely with their healthcare teams to provide clear communication, thoughtful symptom management, and care aligned with their goals.

Dr. Ha is a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Ha enjoys unwinding with a good TV show, getting creative with arts and crafts, baking, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs. She also loves traveling, discovering new places, and making memories with family and friends.
