Esther Yun, M.D., FACOG

My mission is to provide excellent, full-spectrum care to women of all ages and in all stages of life. I strongly believe in a team approach with the patient and other providers who may be involved in their care. My goal is to help patients understand their health issues and educate them on available treatment options so that each patient leaves with a deeper understanding of what is causing her condition, which in turn empowers her to make the decision that best suites her needs. I also believe in looking at health issues from a whole mind-body perspective instead of a compartmentalized approach. This means understanding individual disease processes as well as how organ systems interact and how psychological health can affect wellness. I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

Dr. Yun enjoys volunteering, in her spare time, for the local cycling community. She helps build and maintain mountain biking trails, as well as advocating for female riders.

Dr. Yun relocated to CA from Boston, and is very glad to be out of the snow and in the sunshine! When Dr. Yun is not at work, she enjoys spending time cycling with her husband, spending time with their two Akitas, cooking, and knitting.
