Garet C Comer, M.D.

Dr. Comer practices medicine with a patient-centered approach. This approach is built upon fostering a relationship with each patient, listening and understanding how a condition uniquely affect each patient's life, and moving forward with treatment guided by the trust established between doctor and patient. Putting these principles into action, Dr. Comer has a warm bedside manner and is committed to delivering the best patient care and education possible.

Dr. Comer enjoys travel, playing the guitar, backcountry adventures, working out, and spending time with his wife and four children.

Dr. Comer was born and raised in a small farm town in California's Central Valley. He graduated summa cum laude from Fresno State with a degree in Chemistry and attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. After completing medical school, he returned to California where he completed residency in orthopedic surgery at Stanford University. He remained at Stanford for a dual fellowship as a hand fellow and clinical instructor in upper extremity surgery.
