Matthew J. Torres, M.D.

Matthew Torres, M.D. believes that psychiatry is a constantly evolving field and is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals. He provides comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care for adults, treating a broad range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD and trauma-related disorders, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, and co-occurring substance use disorders. His clinical interests include transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). His approach is to provide individualized treatment approaches to support recovery and improve quality of life. He believes in building strong therapeutic relationships grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each patient’s dignity, individuality, and personal journey toward mental wellness.

Dr. Torres is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Medical Association.

Outside of medicine, his interests include spending time with his family, hiking, traveling, skiing, gaming, and reading.
