Philosophy of care

I enjoy family practice because I find it rewarding to treat whole families and multiple generations of a family. I enjoy engaging my patients in discussions regarding their healthcare, allowing them an opportunity to share in the decision process. I spend time understanding my patients' needs and desires and we work together as a team toward managing preventive care, chronic illness issues and treatments.

Personal interests

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Winkler enjoys spending time with her husband and two children — they like to travel and surf together. She also enjoys playing volleyball.
