Krysta L. Pleyte, MFT

Krysta Pleyte, LMFT, believes that establishing a relationship that promotes safety and security is paramount when working with patients. She identifies safety as a basic need, which becomes the beginning of a road map that helps patients discover parts of themselves, understand their relationships with others, and ultimately move from a place of survival toward healing, healthy coping, and the ability to thrive. She is committed to walking alongside her patients in their journey and assisting them as they bravely take steps in prioritizing their overall health and well-being.

She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys the outdoors with her family, experiencing new cultures, places, and food. She also enjoys gardening, building Legos with her kids, and spending time with her hound dog.

She has experience working with at-risk populations, including foster and probational youth, as well as survivors of trauma and abuse. She also has experience working within the dynamics of groups, families, and couples, prioritizing safe communication in order to promote healing and healthy functioning.
