Whether you’re nearsighted or need care for cataracts, the Department of Ophthalmology at California Pacific Medical Center can offer you the most advanced and comprehensive care for all eye conditions. We provide a wide range of services including general eye examinations, vision correction with glasses or contact lenses, cataract surgery and LASIK, as well as diagnosing and treating vision problems. Our team of doctors and specialists are nationally recognized experts in the areas of:

Vision issues occur more commonly after age 40. At CPMC, we strive to help you preserve your eyesight through regular checkups and management of risk factors, such as diabetes and thyroid problems. If your sight becomes impaired, we can help you maximize your vision and maintain independence. In particular, The Frank Stein and Paul S. May Center for Low Vision Rehabilitation at California Pacific Medical Center, a Sutter Health affiliate, offers specialty services for low vision so you can return to doing what you love.

Pacific Vision Foundation

The Pacific Vision Foundation (PVF) is a charitable non-profit 501(c) (3) and the fundraising arm of the Department of Ophthalmology at CPMC. PVF is committed to the prevention of blindness, the improvement of vision and the enhancement of life for those who see imperfectly.
