A hysterosonogram or HSN is also known by the names sonohysterogram, saline ultrasound, saline sonogram, or saline infusion sonogram. A hysterosonogram is a minimally invasive ultrasound procedure that can determine if there are abnormalities inside the uterus that might interfere with pregnancy.

- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) — MRI uses a strong magnetic field, radio waves and a computer to produce images of tissues and organs in great detail. Because radiation is not required, MRI may be used for pregnant women in place of CT and other imaging modalities.
- Transvaginal Ultrasound — Performed like a pelvic exam in which a very small transducer is inserted several inches into the vagina to better view the endometrium, uterus and ovaries, enabling the detection of abnormalities, scars, polyps, fibroids and cancer.
- Ovarian Vein Embolization — A minimally invasive treatment for a painful condition called pelvic congestion syndrome, where a damaged vein is closed off via a catheter and coils inserted by an interventional radiologist.
