    Child-Centered Care

A child who needs surgery deserves the most advanced options available, delivered by compassionate experts. With decades of experience, pediatric surgery teams at CPMC support your child and your family every step of the way.

Pediatric general surgeons, microsurgeons and plastic surgeons provide total care for newborns, children and teenagers using minimally invasive, microsurgical and standard surgical procedures. At every stage, professionally trained Child Life Services staff provide the comprehensive support your child needs to feel comfortable, safe and informed.

Pediatric surgery services include diagnosis, consultation, management and follow-up care. We maintain close communication with your family and your referring doctor at all times. We encourage you to ask questions and learn all you can about preparing for your child’s surgery.
