Sutter Roseville Medical Center
Anesthesiology Residency
We are excited to announce a four-year, ACGME accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program, beginning in July 2025, with ten (10) positions. Our residents will have the opportunity to train alongside residents in Sutter’s other ACGME-accredited programs in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, and various other subspecialties.

Advanced Training in Anesthesiology
Our new residency program delivers top-tier training that aligns with American Board of Anesthesiology standards, fully preparing residents for Board Certification and a successful career in anesthesiology. Through hands-on experience in our 418-bed medical center, residents will gain practical experience in delivering outstanding anesthetic care to a diverse patient population.
Sutter Roseville offers residents access to advanced facilities, including a Level II trauma center, Level III NICU, Rehabilitation Institute and Joint Commission-recognized Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center, serving the greater Sacramento region. With extensive resources, rich learning opportunities and a focus on teamwork in Roseville’s growing community, residents are well-prepared to become leaders in anesthesiology.
