About the Fellowship Program
The Hand Therapy Fellowship Program is a 12-month program that aims to provide advanced clinical training in hand therapy, offering a comprehensive curriculum that integrates evidence-based practices with real-world clinical experience. Through this fellowship, we cultivate future leaders in hand therapy who provide exceptional patient care, advance research, and mentor the next generation of practitioners. A dedicated and passionate core faculty provide support to each individual fellow through mentorship, didactic education, and research opportunities.
The program utilizes several methods of instruction. In addition to the various forms of didactic and laboratory education, the fellow will receive direct mentorship for a portion of their patient care and interactions with a clinical faculty member. The fellow will also be able to observe hand surgeons in the clinic and the operating room.

Provide clinical education that accelerates an occupational therapist’s professional development in becoming a resource, educator and mentor to others as:
- A highly skilled patient-care provider, specializing in hand therapy.
- A Competent consumer of scientific literature.
- An eligible Certified Hand Therapist candidate.
