Dr. Pauline Siao was born in New York and has lived in different countries around the world growing up: 6 years in Bermuda, 4 years in Hong Kong, and 6 years in Taiwan. She attended Stanford University for her undergraduate years, Keck USC School of Medicine for medical school, and Stanford’s Family Medicine Residency at the San Jose Medical Center.

Dr. Siao has been at PAMF since 2000, initially at their Redwood Shores site and then at the San Carlos location before joining the Encina Department in 2022. She has held several administrative positions including Associate Chair of the Palo Alto and Mills Peninsula Family Medicine departments and Chair of the Professional Affairs Committee Palo Alto and Mills Peninsula Division.

Dr. Siao embraces the concept of caring for the family unit and loves seeing patients that span all age groups. In 2020, she was awarded Sutter Medical Network Patients’ Choice Award for Primary Care in the Sutter Health Bay Area.
