Volunteering at Sutter Roseville Medical Center

Each year more than 250 men, women and teens help Sutter Roseville Medical Center fulfill its unique mission by creating a friendly atmosphere for patients, family members and the community. From assisting patients and visitors at the information desk to holding fundraisers and managing the gift shop, Sutter Roseville Medical Center Auxiliary members support the hospital in many ways.

Junior Volunteers

The Junior Auxiliary is open to high school students who are interested in volunteer opportunities. Students must be at least 16 years old by September 1.

Please Note: Applications for Junior Volunteers are only accepted in April of each year and must be dated between April 1-30. Only those whose applications are selected will be contacted.

We will resume the Junior Volunteer Program in April 2022.

Benefits of Volunteering

Smiling volunteers

"There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up."  — John Andres Holmes

Volunteering is a wonderful gift that can be given to patients and the community. Volunteers meet new people, make new friends, use their skills and acquire new ones. They feel a sense of accomplishment and perhaps the most important benefit is the satisfaction of knowing they are contributing to their community and making a difference.

Volunteering at Sutter Roseville Medical Center is fun, rewarding, and it’s a way to make a difference in someone’s life every single day.

Become a Volunteer

Prospective volunteers must complete an application form. If your application is selected, you will be contacted about the next steps. Please note that because of the volume of applications, only those whose applications are selected will be contacted. We request a one year commitment.

Contacted applicants must attend an Informational Session, interview individually with Service Chairs, and complete a Background Check. If selected the applicant must attend a New Member Orientation, which is held quarterly.
