Q: What is Sutter Health?

Sutter Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system serving Northern and Central California. Through our hospitals and medical groups, we provide a full range of medical services and treatments. These include same-day care (urgent care, video visits, emergency care), primary care and pediatrics as well as advanced specialty care for complex conditions like heart disease, cancer and neurological disorders.

Specialized Services

Q: What women’s health services do you offer?

From annual exams to high-risk obstetrics and menopause care, Sutter’s 400+ women’s health providers support patients at every age and stage.

Q: Do you provide pediatric care?

Yes. Our pediatricians care for children from newborns through adolescence, including well visits, immunizations and specialty care.

Q: What cancer services are available?

With 22 cancer centers and more than 250 specialists, Sutter offers advanced treatments for breast, prostate, lung, skin, pancreatic and other cancers. Several of our hospitals are ranked “High Performing” by U.S. News & World Report.

Q: Do you offer mental health services?

Yes. Sutter provides support for depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD, substance use, eating disorders and more through our behavioral health programs.

Q: What maternity services are available?

We offer family-centered support throughout pregnancy and beyond. Sutter teams deliver more than 26,000 babies annually at 16 birth centers. With seven NICUs, we provide advanced care for newborns when needed.  

Q: Do you offer orthopedic care?

Yes. Our orthopedic programs include joint replacement, sports medicine, and bone and joint care. Three Sutter hospitals are ranked among America’s 100 Best for Joint Replacement.

Q: What neuroscience services do you offer?

Sutter provide advanced treatments for ALS, dementia, epilepsy, movement disorders and more — including deep brain stimulation, laser ablation and comprehensive neurosurgery.

Q: What heart and vascular services are available?

Sutter has one of the nation’s largest cardiovascular programs, offering treatment for heart attack, valve disease and vascular conditions. Multiple Sutter hospitals are nationally recognized for heart care.
