Our Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program brings graduate-level medical education to the greater Sacramento area. Obstetrics and Gynecology residents will receive rigorous instruction from some of the best and brightest physicians in the Sutter Health System.

The Sutter Roseville OB/GYN Residency was created to meet the healthcare needs of one of California's fastest-growing communities. Population growth has increased demand for obstetric and gynecologic services while the prevalence of chronic conditions affecting pregnancy continues to rise. Residents train in a high-volume clinical environment where Lifestyle Medicine and Wellness are integrated into patient care, emphasizing nutrition, physical activity, stress management, sleep, and healthy behaviors as essential components of women's health. By combining outstanding clinical training with a focus on prevention, our graduates are prepared to improve health across generations.
