ABSMC Internal Medicine Clerkship

The Sutter Health Alta Bates Summit Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program prides itself on teaching and involving medical students in patient care. Students are exposed to a variety of patients and procedures in the inpatient setting at one of the largest hospitals (ABSMC, Oakland) in the Bay Area.  We strive to create an experience where the learner wishes to return to our residency program for training in internal medicine. Medical Students apply to Sutter Health ABSMC Clerkships through the AAMC VSLO system.

• Your application will not be considered complete until all required documents have been received.
• Please note that we do not accept international medical students.
