Child, Adolescent, and Family Psychology Fellowship
Grow your skills in CPMC’s post-doctoral fellowship. Our program provides 12 months of training in therapy, assessment and leadership. You’ll become license ready and feel confident in hospital and outpatient roles. We’re applying for APPIC membership.

Message from the Director

Guidance and Mentoring
Our program focuses on supervision and mentorship, offering both individual and group supervision. You’ll work closely with a primary supervisor for personalized guidance, as well as additional supervisors based on your track and rotation schedule. Six core faculty members lead clinical case management, professional development and licensure preparation. You’ll also benefit from interdisciplinary consultation, offering a broader perspective on patient care.

Training and Sub-Rotations
Get direct experience managing child, adolescent and family therapy cases in a pediatric outpatient clinic. We also offer additional psychological assessments based on your development needs. You’ll be assigned to one of five sub-rotations, with potential opportunities to experience multiple areas.

Structure of Training
Our fellowship helps you build psychotherapy caseloads, take on assessments and assume increasing responsibilities. You’ll gain hands-on experience by observing and co-leading services with preceptors. During the program, you’ll set goals, receive supervision, attend a year-long seminar, participate in case conferencing and explore additional training opportunities.
