Admissions and Outcome Data
Admission Requirements
Our admissions guidelines help set you up for success. All prerequisites must be met prior to the start of the fellowship year. You must satisfy these requirements:
- Complete a doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D.) in clinical, counseling or educational psychology from an APA- or CPA-member program. Only degrees and degree programs eligible for ultimate licensure will be accepted.
- Complete an APPIC- or APA-member pre-doctoral internship.
- Obtain an F-1 student visa, if you’re an international applicant.
Prior to starting, fellows are also required to complete and pass a comprehensive pre-employment screening, including a medical examination, drug testing, review of immunization records and a TB test. Fellows must also consent to a background check.
