Group therapy can be a powerful way to make progress when you’re dealing with mental health issues. You will discover you’re not alone in your struggle and get support and honest feedback from others with similar problems, thought patterns, impulses or behaviors. You can learn healthier ways to relate to others. And by interacting with other people, you may begin to understand yourself and your feelings in a way you have never done before.
We offer a range of therapy groups at several locations through Palo Alto Medical Foundation’s (PAMF) Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Department. Group therapy is available by referral to patients who have a PAMF primary care provider.
